Tax Freedom Day means that, until then, all the money you've earned has gone towards paying your taxes. It takes working that many days a year to cover your tax obligations. Sad, isn't it? And do you think that takes into account all our sales tax and property tax and gasoline tax and sin taxes (tobacco, alcohol, etc.) that we pay everyday?
