I have not repaid any taxes. Is there a statue of limitations on this, since it has been 10 years? Jerry Dear Jerry, If you filed the tax return 10 years ago, perhaps you're nearly out of statute. I don't know if leaving the country freezes the statute. Call IRS and see what they show as the status on your account. If you didn't file your tax return, forget it.
