Paul Edwards sent me his book, "The Entrepreneurial Parent" recently. It's all about real people who make a real living working at home, surrounded by family and distractions. Paul and Sarah Edwards, and Lisa Roberts break down 101 business categories (using profiles of real people in those businesses) into things like the space requirements, skills needed, tools needed, revenue streams, pricing structure, additional cost items, and recommended resources. They have great little outtakes about "A Day in The Life." The presentation is so solid. If you're considering starting just about business (even if it's not from home), you're going to get an idea of the time, skill, tool and money requirements to do it.
