COMBAT ZONE EMAIL ADDRESS IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR
USE BY MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES WORLDWIDE
An email address has been established for use by
taxpayers located in a Combat Zone to correspond with
the IRS with specific questions on their combat zone
status for filing and payment purposes.
The email address, mailto:combatzone@irs.gov, is not
a secure site, so specific taxpayer information may
be sent to IRS but will not be referenced by IRS
employees in responses issued.
Please don't clog that e-mail address with general tax questions.
For fastest results on other tax questions, please call IRS at
800-829-1040.
